After Slavery: Race, Labor and Politics Conference

Charleston, South Carolina

The College of Charleston, in partnership with the After Slavery Project, The Citadel, the African American Historical Alliance and the Southern Labor Studies Association, will present an international conference titled, "After Slavery: Race, Labor and Politics in the Post-Emancipation Carolinas."

This event is supported in part by a major grant from the Humanities Council of SC.
